Overview of Merchandise
Helping Hand Liquidators (HHLiquidators), a subsidiary/DBA of A Helping Hand For Various Demands, LLC, prides itself on sourcing primarily brand-new, factory-sealed merchandise, alongside select, meticulously vetted open-box items. To provide these premium goods at highly competitive liquidation prices, we strictly enforce the following return parameters to protect our inventory integrity.
Policy for Brand New, Factory-Sealed Items
We accept returns on brand-new merchandise within 14 calendar days of the delivery date (with an extended 30-day window for electronics), subject to one absolute condition: the item must remain entirely unopened, with all original manufacturer seals, shrink wrap, and factory tape perfectly intact.
If the item is returned in its pristine, original state, a refund will be issued to the original payment method, minus applicable fees (detailed below). The buyer is responsible for all return shipping logistics and costs.
The "Broken Seal" Rule
If a brand-new item is opened, unsealed, or utilized in any capacity, it immediately loses its classification as "brand new." Therefore, we strictly prohibit returns for buyer's remorse, incompatibility, or aesthetic preference once the factory seal is broken.
Policy for Open-Box and Clearance Liquidation Items
Any item explicitly categorized and sold as "Open-Box," "Used," or "Clearance Liquidation" is sold strictly "As-Is" and constitutes a final sale. These specific items are ineligible for return or refund under any circumstances, barring a severe misrepresentation of the item's condition in the listing.
Exceptions: Manufacturer Defects and "Dead On Arrival" (DOA)
We understand that even brand-new, factory-sealed electronics and appliances can occasionally suffer from inherent manufacturer defects. If you open a brand-new item and discover it is completely non-functional (DOA), we provide a 7-day defect exception window. To authorize a defect return, you must:
- Email our support team at info@hhliquidators.com within 7 days of delivery.
- Provide photographic or video evidence demonstrating the total failure of the item.
- Return the item with every piece of original packaging, including plastic wrappers, twist ties, and manuals.
If our inspection facility confirms the defect upon return, a full refund will be systematically processed within seven business days. If the item is found to be functional, the return will be rejected.
Category-Specific Restrictions
Health and Personal Care (HPC) Restrictions
In accordance with standard health and safety protocols, we strictly prohibit the return of any Health and Personal Care (HPC) items, cosmetics, skincare, lotions, or consumable goods. This prohibition applies universally and constitutes a Final Sale, regardless of whether the item remains sealed.
Drones & Remote-Controlled Devices
- Unopened / Brand New: 14 days from delivery confirmation.
- Strict Condition: If opened, drones are only eligible for the DOA exception if they have never been flown, activated, or registered. Any signs of flight, user-caused damage, crashes, or missing accessories will immediately void any return eligibility.
Apparel & Home Decor
- 14 days from delivery confirmation.
- Condition: Clothing must be unworn, unwashed, free of odors or stains, and have all original tags attached. Home decor must be returned in its original packaging and condition.
Filtration Systems
- 14 days from delivery confirmation.
- Strict Condition: Due to health and functionality standards, all water, air, and other filtration products must be completely sealed in their original factory packaging. Unsealed filters cannot be returned.
Refund Breakdown & Non-Refundable Fees
We believe in total transparency regarding your refund. If your return is approved and the item passes inspection, your refund will consist of the item's original purchase price plus the proportional Sales Tax paid on that item.
What is Deducted from Your Refund (Non-Refundable):
- Original Shipping Fees: The initial cost of shipping or local delivery.
- Transaction Processing Fees: Third-party payment gateway transaction fees are not returned to us by processors and will be deducted from your final refund amount.
- Return Shipping: The exact cost of the provided prepaid return shipping label will be deducted from your refund.
Important Exception Regarding Return Labels: If the cost of the return shipping label exceeds the original purchase price of the item, we cannot issue a prepaid label. In this scenario, you are responsible for purchasing your own return postage through a carrier of your choice in order to return the item and receive your refund.
